These are not factory style shafts- these are an upgraded design.
These shafts feature a bolt on style design, which will protect your carrier from wear and tear. They come complete with new, maintenance free u-joints, carrier bearing, transfer case & differential flange. As always, our drive shafts are balanced, ready to install!
This shaft is built in a 1550 series u-joint.
The factory Drive shaft is known to have carrier bearing issues. We build a lot of Aluminum 1 Piece conversion shafts, however some applications they are too long and have critical speed issues.
We recommend on the longer drive shafts to keep a 2 piece drive shaft and upgrade to a properly built straight and balance drive shaft.
