REMCO/ QUICK DISCONNECT DRIVESHAFTS

When towing your 2WD/RWD vehicle, the driveline must be disconnected prior to prevent damage to the transmission. This requires mechanical service every time you want to tow, which is not convenient!

Quick Disconnects, or REMCO units, are a simple solution to this issue. The disconnect is comparable to a mechanical clutch, which is installed into the differential side of the driveshaft. When the disconnect is engaged, the rear axle is able to turn freely without affecting the drive shaft or transmission.

The drive shaft will have a cable attached allowing for engagement/disengagement from the convenience of the driver's seat!

We offer a range of driveshafts and REMCO packages! Please note, these are custom built shafts and our lead time may require a few extra days for these particular shafts
