Length of the shaft is 63-3/8" Center of u-joint to Center of u-joint.
Factory Aluminum shafts are extremely thin wall aluminum (.083" wall thickness) and are not built Stronger. This will be built out of thick, quality aluminum (.125" wall thickness) and balanced at a high RPM prior to leaving.
