This is not a factory style shaft, this is an upgraded design. This shaft features a bolt on style design, which will protect your carrier from wear and tear. It comes complete with new, maintenance free u-joints, carrier bearing, transfer case yoke, and differential flange. As always, our drive shafts are completely assembled and balanced, ready to install!
These will fit 2003-2018 Dodge Ram vehicles. This shaft is built in a 1485 series u-joint. We do offer a heavy duty design for the 2014 and newer vehicles too, which is also compatible for older vehicles looking for an upgrade. For the heavier duty design, click here.
The factory Drive shaft is known to have carrier bearing issues. We build a lot of Aluminum 1 Piece conversion shafts, however some applications they are too long and have critical speed issues. We recommend on the longer drive shafts to keep a 2 piece drive shaft and upgrade to a properly built straight and balance drive shaft.
Lead time is up to 2-1/2 weeks before it ships from the time you place your order, keep in mind that it could go faster based on current production schedule.
